Libertarians believe that each of us has both the right and the responsibility to determine our own destiny. The role of government is to protect us from those who would harm us through force or fraud. The DuPage Libertarians have advocated these principles since our founding in 1972.

If you would like to join the Libertarian Party of Illinois or the National Libertarian Party, you can sign up on each of their websites. It's a free country yet, so you choose which organizations you would like to belong to.
